  19. "Overview of ISDN services for Home and Business" 
  20.  
  21. Maurice Curran of Cortel Business Systems, Inc., Vice President of Sales in
  22. charge of the 
  23. Network Services Division at Cortel will give an overview of ISDN and
  24. discuss in detail 
  25. the requirements and methods for acquiring ISDN services for business or
  26. home uses. This 
  27. technical talk will cover the issues and pitfalls that might be encountered
  28. when setting 
  29. up service, and include a discussion of using ISDN to access the Internet. 
  30.  
  31. ISDN is the desktop or home connection to the greater broadband capacities
  32. being deployed 
  33. across the country and in our region.  Integrated Services means that with
  34. ISDN you can 
  35. talk, receive and send data and transmit images or faxes all on the same
  36. line.  Digital 
  37. describes the way ISDN transmits sound, image and other information versus
  38. the traditional 
  39. analog electronic method. 
  40.  
  41. Cortel Business Systems, Inc. is a sixteen year old voice and data systems
  42. integrator in 
  43. the NY/NJ marketplace, as well as an ISDN sales agent for NYNEX.
